Differing front bars on the v36?

Hey guys, 

I'm looking at getting a v36 and have noticed there is the usual front bar you see on most of them, but have also noticed a few that have the front bar as shown in the attached car. Can anyone explain why the difference exists? Is it related to the trim level?

That's the pre-2009 model front bar. From 2009 onwards, you got the one that you have usually seen.

Ah O.K, thanks for the info. I've seen a few 2009-2010 models advertised on carsales etc with this bar though?

Its the poverty pack/base model front bar.
