MrStabby
Glass polishing I've got scuff marks on both door windows i'd like to get polished out. Does anyone have a recommendation for this work? Do car detailers usually do it? 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/467914-glass-polishing/ Share on other sites
MrRx7s3
It's pretty easy to do yourself, you can get the powder off ebay, I've done a few myself with great success. MrRx7s3
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322336514522The whiter the better apparently more pure or something.... also the finer the better the result. MrStabby
Interesting, i started the polish with a kit that had cerium oxide and pads that you put on a drill, but the progress was so slow i gave up. What did you do? Did you get the deep scratches out with 400 10001500 2000 3000 sandpaper like in the ebay add? MrRx7s3
The extremely deep ones yes with sandpaper first.... yeah it takes some time to do though.... but works better than anything else out there.... just be careful not to get the glass too hot you don't want it cracking on you. MrRx7s3
I went 1000 2000 then with the cerium oxide.... try with less water aswell.... also try get the whitest one as it's more pure and works better.
