Glass polishing

I've got scuff marks on both door windows i'd like to get polished out. Does anyone have a recommendation for this work? Do car detailers usually do it?

It's pretty easy to do yourself, you can get the powder off ebay, I've done a few myself with great success.

Yeah it's quite cheap.... looks like coke too lol I buckled when I opened the packet, 250 grams for like $28 it was its the stuff window glaziers and such use.... I'll get you the actual name of it when I get home or a link.

The whiter the better apparently more pure or something.... also the finer the better the result.

Interesting, i started the polish with a kit that had cerium oxide and pads that you put on a drill, but the progress was so slow i gave up. What did you do? Did you get the deep scratches out with  400 10001500 2000 3000 sandpaper like in the ebay add?

The extremely deep ones yes with sandpaper first.... yeah it takes some time to do though.... but works better than anything else out there.... just be careful not to get the glass too hot you don't want it cracking on you.

I went 1000 2000 then with the cerium oxide.... try with less water aswell.... also try get the whitest one as it's more pure and works better.
