Engine sound (video)

Hello,

I got this weird ticking sound coming from the engine. atleast i think it's coming from the inside of the engine.

I just recently serviced my car with 10-30 synethic blend oil valvoline, oil filter.

After that i drived to test if everything was okay, my serphent belt broke in halve was stil spinning every pulley.(the small belt)

Fixed that. cleaned the tenshoner also.

But i stil got this ticking noise. It's a bit loud.

I read about VCT i don't even think my car even has that.

Only thing left to check are the sparkplugs, but i doubt that could be making all this noise. any idea anyone.

Timing chain maybe?

sounds like its outside the engine.

Might be a bearing of one of the pulleys.

Get a spray bottle of water and spay the pulleys when its running. If the noise spots when you spay one then its that one.

But its best to take it to a mechanic.

Worst case scenario:

Low oil pressure causing timing chain to rattle

Oil is leaking inside timing cover because a gasket has broken under a  cover plate - see the pistol shaped plate & the broken gasket poking out .

Do an oil pressure test to eliminate this possibility - hope its not this, however it sounds suspicious.
