Someone needs to make a set of chasers, but with the Chev bowtie instead of the holes all around the edge.

Would make a fortune!

In the late 90's I had VS S ute, 5ltr manual with chasers and Yokamaha Y352 (yeap, white lettering out), lowered on King springs, Hurricane headers and a straight 3" exhaust, it was all that was bogan.

Slow as fark, but sounded good and done good skids, ahhh, memories.......

I'll shut up now

@mlr you really should buy my R33, it has a full twin scroll setup which your old R33 never had :)

Also has fab work that's over the top and overkill LOL

I really want a stock fast car, where modding consist of plugging up an OBD2 cable.

No idea, but he has 2x big dollar car builds. I regard myself as insane with 1x car build that's incomplete however my focus is elsewhere these days.

Getting the car back tonight :)

Probably need to work on the tune a bit since the changes, so won't skid it's mum yet. Also need some cheapie tyres on the back, it's got 4X 265 new semis on it lol.

    • Finally addressing my catch can and oil setup Plan is to do as much as practical without having to remove the motor or pull it apart. (no back of head to sump drain/breather or oil restrictors) First step is a set of full length baffle plates from Hypertune and a Tomei cam cap stud kit. I could probably have laser cut and bent up my own ones but this took any guess work out
    • I thought about ditching it but I was worried my bonnet would sound like a 90's Swift GTi sub-filled boot.

    • I spent the entire of the long weekend going through my garage and I'm now, after 3.5yrs in this house, able to fit a car in. The garage is quite long and the back half has a high enough ceiling for a 2 post lift but it's going to just take too much space and I don't think I'd be able to get around the car if it was in the air. So, in comes the quick lift. It looks perfect. High enough to do most things, I reckon even getting a gearbox out would be doable.  Does anybody here have one? They're fairly cheap (~$3k) considering...  https://www.dtmtrading.com.au/product/quick-lift-portable-vehicle-hoist-3500-kg-worksafe-approved/ I'm also a bit of a non risk taker so I'd probably still use stands when under!
    • Well now we all see it! I did the same. Then cut it out. Then melted half of it. Then discarded it entirely. So... you're in good company.
