Buy a Nexus and wire everything and do heaps of other stuff.
Enough outputs for almost any engine setup

I was thinking of just having two switches and no relay. Need to measure peak current on a stalled motor window.

 

From what i can picture in your setup, i cant see how youre using the relay to remove high current from the switch, your switch has to be in the same side of the circuit as the motor.

 

 

Nexxus, ha ha ha ha ha, man, Id love one, but i dont have that coin. Id pay for the roll cage before a Nexxus.

That being said, part of a project I have at work involves a programmable IO module. Its just slightly lower in the order than another project right now. Once done Ill be programming it for my own exact purpose, including a CAN keypad for a lot lower cost than I can purchase a Nexxus for.

Do love the Haltech gear though, want Nexxus, Keypad, and Dash.

Yeah this is wjat i was looking at with dual relay and a switch per window.

Depending on the current, if I can find a good mometary DPDT switch that will take high current, ill use it direct, with the relay just for switching windows off when ignition power is off. From what ive seen, lots of manufactufers do it, hence the lots of arcing amd carbon burn in switches over time.

Very potato photo, just took it as I was leaving as my mate asked where I was heading in the R33.

Left about 8am and took a very extended drive to Meat Emporium to pick up wagyu lololol.

Night before pulled out the laptop and set 1bar of boost, 17 degrees of timing mid range and 19 up top. Safe as shit and closed loop O2 to take care of the rest.

Gave it many jabs to 8k rpm (limiter is 8500rpm). Must say, it's very linear in terms of power, where as before with smaller cams and the OEM intake manifold/plenum you could feel a big surge of torque coming on. 

Probably put it on the dyno soon, when I have time. Alex from Birrong has been asking me when I'm bringing it in, I'm sure he's keen too (as the choice of parts isn't what he's used to putting together).

Some billet brace goodness 😂

This is the only billet brace I can afford.

Needed a better battery clamp solution as the flimsy clamp from Supercheap wasn't holding the battery in place, especially after cutting off one side of the battery guide on the tray to fit a larger battery.

Bit more timing down low once tuned and youll get the surge back :P

 

years ayearsreduced timing on my 25/30 when it was first put in, as it wasnt yet tuned, may have set it slightly low at only 15 degrees... high mount got hot while i moved the car from one house to another on a 20 minute freeway drive...

and thats how my bonnet lining caught fire...

Yeah mine shouldn't ignite, manifold is coated, have a turbo beanie and also the dump is wrapped.

Has survived 2x track days like this without catching on fire. Just binned a motor instead when the cam snapped due to oil starvation.

Should be putting it on the dyno soon, just finding time during the week to tune it has been difficult. Work being aids 😭

Might see if I can convince Birrong to open up on a Saturday 🥲

With all the coating etc should be okay

OEM+ achieved, have a bunch of clips and shit plus the cowl to replace soon (all in boxes).

Hopefully someone with a M3 LCI, white, DCT, sunroof, sub 50k kms, near stock wants to straight swap me for the R33 😂
