Tiling done, toilet fitment done, paint nearly done.

Now for the cabinets, then bench top and then maybe finish off the R33 heap of shit.

Needed to do laundry before our trip to Tassy, at least the laundry is functional haha

If your wondering why some parts aren't painted it's because the cabinets are going over it. The parts in prep/prime are for the splash back tiles.

How difficult is it to get the tiles off the wall without completely stuffing up the plasterboard?

But all good things don't last, I'm back to work tomorrow. Ended up with a 2.5 contract role until our 5 week Europe trip.

A little bit of coin helps I guess.

@WantGTR more reno pics as requested, tile on tile for the floor.

Prep & Prime on and a mock of how the tiles might look.

Mate, as a  foreman working with a Tier 1 this is literally the dodgiest way to renovate a bathroom, STOP.

And before you flame me, the owner of the unit I'm renting did the exact same thing and the bathroom now leaks like niagra falls.

Please explain how you'll do an Australian Standard detail around the floor waste, oh wait you can't. Water ALWAYS gets in around & underneath and you may as well have blown a headgasket mate.

F**king stop dude, rip the existing tiles up, minimum two coat waterproof system and lay on the proper substrate. Otherwise it will devalue your property.

Never tile against tile.....NEVER, & you'll thank me later. And if you don't listen, watch in 1-2 years when your walls become soaked (and if you live in an apartment block feel the wrath of strata).

It's a laundry. I assume that he would tip water down the sink rather than straight on the floor. (or do people tip it on the floor? I don't know)

it's not a shower, it's barely going to be wet. Why wouldthe walls be ruined in 2 years?

Also it's a town house, the laundry is on a solid slab too and ground level. As Ben stated, all the laundry waste would go directly into the drain not on the floor.

If it were a shower, it would be very different :)
