is this angle oil drain ok?

i'm doing the oil drain and where it bolts into the block the fitting is on a downward angle probably 30 degrees or so

will this be ok?

also will i need a fire insulation around the braids oil drain line if the line passes through the warped 6boos manifold?

A little bit of oil will sit in the bottom of the bend as it sits lower than the hole in the block but it shouldn't be a problem. 

Definitely heat wrap the hose so you don't end up with oil going straight onto your exhaust when it burns through.
