These NGKs have been in my Bora for only 20,000k's or so but the car has some small misses under load.

I took the plugs out to blast the carbon off with a torch but they were in pretty good nic and didn't need to be blasted.

I gave them a little blast but then I noticed that some plugs are missing their tips which makes the gap bigger. In my humble opinion this could be what is causing the miss. What do you think?

You definitely need new plugs. Just looking at the pics they seem to have a massive gap - have you measured it?

Did you pull all six plugs? I have just acquired a V6 Camry and decided to replace the plugs only to find different plugs on the rear bank - I would say the last shop to service it didn't do the rears because they are a pain to get at...or is that not the case on your Bora?

The plugs without the tips are definitely your problem if they are the same part no. As the other plugs. Time for replacements.

Yeah, only 2 have the proper tips. Out of 6. A bit irritated as they were $30ea only 20,000k's ago. :(

No, I replaced these myself with the NGK platinums. 4 of the 6 are missing the little extra tip.

I might get Bosch plugs next time. Theres not many options for my car, but i'm a bit bummed by the NGK's.
