Rota Torque 17x9 +35 5x114.3 Wheels w/ Kumho KU36 235/45R17 Tyres

Hi Folks

A great set of wheels and excellent tyres on dry and wet. Just been sitting inside the house for a year as spares. Been travelling and need to get rid of excess stock and parts.

Approx 75-80% tread on tyres. Let pics tell you more. Bit of gutter rash on left rear wheel. Rest are in excellent condition. These wheels have never been tracked.

Local pickup can be cash on pickup but can organise delivery if paid with Paypal and sent to registered Paypal address. You will need to pay Paypal fees and delivery of course.

PM or message/call on phone.

Cheers

    • Does anyone know what the centreline should be for the vct intake cam? On my cam spec card it just says VARI and doesn’t actually tell me what the centreline should be. I had to adjust my exhaust cam gear by about 5 degrees advanced so I’m guessing I would have to adjust my intake as well? Current intake centreline is 119 deg. Iv already asked kelford and they won’t respond, It’s the 246-A 262 cams.  thanks for the help guys
    • Get a timing light on it and verify it's sparking reliably at a sane ignition timing. Use a COP extension lead to be 100% sure about timing instead of hoping that the timing loop on the back of the engine is accurate. Make sure it's actually injecting fuel. MAF is not used on the stock ECUs for initial cranking.
    • RE5R01A is the transmission. Didn't realize they had a 5 speed for the NA cars but for some reason the turbo engines stuck to 4 speeds. Looks like the solenoid block is still available from Nissan directly at a somewhat reasonable price: 31940-60X01 https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/skyline/er33/6568-rb25de/trans/317 I would move sooner on this than later. The moment the de minimis exception for Japan goes away expect to be paying 25% tariffs even for stuff like this.
    • Only RB26 are low from factory. And even then the ECU actually want high impedance, because it's essentially the same ECU as the RB20 anyway, and thus they have a f**king resistor pack!
    • Is this preventable by priming the system with external oil pressure? I've seen the speed academy folks hook up an external oil priming system to the oil pressure sensor port with an air compressor to check for oil leaks before putting an engine back in a car. Something like this: https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/23550/10002/-1?gPromoCode=SPRINGINTOSPEED_APR25_5Off&gQT=1
