Turbos?

Hey everyone can anyone help I've got a r33gtst series 2 just rebuilt motor & was going to rebuild turbo but been quoted $2000 should I just by a new turbo?? Thanks guys

Depends on what you plan on doing if the turbo is efficient enough for what you want the car to do and how much boost you want to run and how much power you plan on getting. Personally I feel spending a little extra on a new turbo and doing research on the turbo is worth it.
