Scotts R34 GTT

Hey Guys and Girls,

Being on this forum for a while now, so thought it was about time i made a post about my car :).

So long story short, i have always wanted a R34 for as long back as i could remember, absolutely just love the shape and the look of them. so when it came close to me getting my full license, i started looking around for one to get. after searching for a while i finally settled on, took a drive to Sydney and picked up my Dream Car.

Here is what i got 1998 R34 GTT

the car had a bit of wear and tear, but was expect but other then that is was fairly stock.

The only mods on the cars were -

* sound system setup (headunit, 2 subs in the boot, amp all in a custom made box / setup)

* Coilovers (dont know the brand but they have some stupidly high spring rate)

* Cat-back exhaust (hks super drager system)

*xxr Rims

The Day i Picked it up

The First mod, was a GFB EBC this was the first ever real mod id done to a car besides a sound system, got it installed and started learning how to use it, where i lived at the time, behind me was a highway so when i finished installing it around 10pm i took it for a drive and started going back and forth on the highway fine tuning it to where i wanted it. stock the car runs 5-7 psi it is now running 10-11psi using the controller.

The next mod to the car was putting in my head-unit from a previous car, nothing to special about this lol done it a million times, gave the wires a bit of a clean up while i was there.

after that i did a 2500km round trip from orange to mt gambier and back. the car ran perfect the whole way didnt have any troubles at all, fuel economy wasn't the best but oh well :P the only bad part was the suspension was horrible on country roads in the wet, kept feeling like i was going to slide off the road at any time.

after that the aftermarket alarm / immobilizer in the car started to play up a bit, the controller was a bit worn so deiced, whats the worst i could do and tried pulling it out myself. and it worked perfectly.

after that i didnt do anything with the car for a while, then one morning got in it pressed the clutch in, heard a werid noise and goodbye Clutch -.- , was able to get it to my mechanics and got a new exeedy heavy duty clutch put into the car.

after that for Christmas i got a 3" dump pipe from the family so i brought myself a hi-flow cat to go with it, now the exhaust system is finished off full 3" turbo back, going to change the exhaust tip tho the HKS super drager is way to big, its like the size of a small gas bottle, and isnt loud enough for me.

over christmas and new years had some time off work so i decided i would start getting the sound system sorted out in the car, had apline type g speakers and a amp for them to install, i got rid of the previous setup as i wanted to make my own so the car was more mine. don't have any pictures of the previous set up, but here is my setup so far, still need to make a floor for the boot and 2 sub boxes to go into the corners while still trying to keep as much room in the boot as possible.
