How to block PCV for catch can

What is the best method to block the pcv port for a catch can install? I took out the check valve, went to three different hardware stores and could not find a block of fitting with the same thread. 

What is the thread on this thing? I will order the proper fitting online.

I can't tell you what thread you have but if you go to an engineering supply store or a hydraulic hose and fittings shop  they should be able to tell you what thread it is and supply a suitable fitting.

I have the same problem.
Googled and everybody said it's 1/4bsp. But it isn't!
This will screw in only 2 turns because the original part it is tapered.
The hydraulic shop ordered me the "right" one. Same thread as the valve, also tapered. But it screws in only one turn, because it's a little big thicker where the taper starts.

I will just use a good silicone end cap on the valve now.

Same issue here. A store specifically for fittings ordered me three different ones. None fit in. Insane!

I will cap it for now as well. Last resort is to cut of the thread part from the check valve and weld it to a bolt head

What do you mean? Just leave the check valve in there??

What you are installing is an oil-air separator. It effectively inserts between the exhaust rocker cover and the turbo intake. Everything else remains "factory".

Somewhere on this forum is a photo of my setup. Some people claim its not "pretty", but it works.

They aren't suppose to screw all the way in, the fact that it widens out and won't screw all the way in is what actually seals it 

go to Motorsport connections (or earls) and order one from them
