S1 C34 mirrors won't fold

Hi all i am trying to fix my s1 mirrors to fold. I have taken them apart and the motor is strong enough to fold in by its self. The pcb i have replaced the relay and polly fuse. I am a electronics assembler btw. But it won't fold in with the pcb in line with the motor. I am bench testing as well not on the car

Theres a walk through on how to fix the cogs on here somewhere.

It folds in with out the pcb board on. So power/earth to the motor it works no worries. Its something to do with the pcb board and i can't figure out what
