Rb25/30 bld

Hello community, Kurt here, new to the forum and thought id start a build thread for my rb25/30 to go in my 2 door r33 gtst. Also hoping i can get some good information from you guys about alot of things as im pretty unfamiliar  with brands and whatnot.

So im just finishing up the paint on my skyline and soon to be looking and rebuilding 2 engines to form 1, rb30 block, with an rb25 head, and a big turbo (because wheres the fun in little turbos). My power goal here is to make around 500-600rwhp. Im not going for a budget build but more a reliability build, do it once, do it right kind of thing.

My first task will be to strip the block down, remove the bearings, crank and pistons and send it off to my engije reconditioner to get machined and dipped. Once back ill order new piston heads, rods, crank and bearings. My question is, what would he the best brands and types of bearings and pistons to put in here to match my power goal.

After this, ill start making plans for the head. Any input apart from negative comments will be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

Hi

Scroll down to the Forced Induction section and you will find the RB30 build thread. In the first post you will find a PDF with most things that you need to know. Next go to the RB30 hybrid upgrade results and you will find you don't need a massive turbo to make 400 - 450 RWKW. Odds are you won't need a new crank ...

Thanks a heap for you direction!

I understand that i probably wont NEED a new crank, but the whole car has been rebuilt, the engine may aswell be too, so its getting a brand new everything or as close to everything as i can :)
