2003 V35 350gt coupe towbar

Guys do you know where the towbar connects too? I have looked under the car at the rear but cannot find a slot to fit it. The towbar came with the car as pictured

That looks like the "bolt" that holds the spare/space saver wheel in the boot.

That looks like a tow hook that attaches to the front of the car. Probably behind the front number plate or anywhere else on the front bar where there is a small removable section.

Yep it is a tow hook - there is a little plastic piece behind the front number plate that clips out, and there is a hole underneath that the gold hook screws into (assuming you have your original reo bar underneath).

yeah.. don't use that to tow.. you will tear the bumper reinforcing out of your car.

There is no 'legal' towbar for the V35..  some people have manufactured their own.

Now if i wanted to get a towbar on the car. Does anyone know how much it will cost? I was quoted $700 and up as its a custom job.

Yep $700 is a really decent price (and I bet it would end up being more than that). Quite a bit of fabrication work involved. You would want to check with them the warranty/legality though - they would have to make up custom brackets to mount to your chassis rails and rear reo bar. A lot of fabrication involved.
