V35 key to a 350z key

I am just wondering is it possible to switch V35 key into a 350z? Has anyone tried doing this?

I'm not, I'm just going to reprogram the key fob. It really shouldn't be that hard, take the V35 chip and put it in the 350z key. Cut the 350z key and then reprogram it.

You will likely find the Aust delivered 350z remotes operate on a different frequency to the JDM V35. (I know Chinese DM vehicles are different to ADM versions of the same vehicle)   If so, maybe if you can get a JDM 350Z (Fairlady) remote, it might work.. that is assuming all the protocols are the same between the JDM 350Z and V35.

The Immo chip and keyblade should be fine though.

Also, I think the 350Z key you have attached is the smart remote for a keyless start system, with a keyblade only for emergencies to open the door if they battery fails.

It worked Paul. Locksmiths nor Nissan would do it, but I managed to get it working.
