Removing battery from my R33

Hey guys, I'm trying to remove the battery from the rear of my R33 and for the life of me I just can't - the stud that the nuts are screwed on are too long for me to stick anything in there and the screw itself is too pushed in for me to get in there comfortably.

I just hate it how the battery is in the rear any ideas guys? Much appreciated.

Cheers,

Alex

Use a 10mm deep impact socket to get on the nuts or a spanner and it will work. Remove black cable (negative) first and leave it hanging somewhere out of the way before removing the red cable off the positive terminal. It should be clear but don't earth yourself or an object between the two accidentally either or you'll get a nice surprise. Once that is complete it's just a matter of pulling the battery out.

Easy as, I agree CAL.  however I do recommend you avoid acid spills/fumes and spend the extra and only use total seal batteries.

Look at Robocops photo's and the white powder...........that ain't snow!!!
