ironmcl
Misfire issue Hi guys wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction. Car is misfiring once hits 10psi, whether it be in low or high boost it misfires from this point. It is a r33 with built rb25det running 310rkw on high boost. Car runs up to 25psi. Changed plugs like for like BCPR7ES and continued with the 0.80mm gap. The split Fire coilpacks were quite hard to get off but now they seem to go on super easy and off quite easily too once 2 bolts removed of course. Any ideas as I am stumped? JDM33R
Did you replaced the coilpacks or just removed them to inspect?? Sounds like coilpacks to me. Misfiring under load. 89CAL
But at what costBut at what costBut seriously. If its been running around with the boost feed to the fuel pressure regulator off, and been misfiring under boost, I'd be awful scared of how lean its been running at high load + boost Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/469681-misfire-issue/#findComment-7819038 Share on other sites
JDM33R
What ecu?Forged pistons can handle a bit more knock. You can tell by the old spark plugs how it's been running. What did they look like??
