Shipping international

I am looking at buying a motor from another board member that lives in Queensland and was wondering if any of you have any experience with shipping a motor to the USA. I havent been able to find any concrete information on what company would be able to do it and a rough cost. Would it be worth getting a hold of someone like spool imports and seeing who they use?

Look up EDI customs and speak to John Legett. He does regular back loading the LA or East coast on a weekly basis. 

I will tell you first hand that this will not be a $500 exercise. So be prepared for that.
