R32 Gtr tomei exhaust thoughts?

Looking at getting a tomei extreme ti exhaust system for my r32 GTR, but i heard they are really loud and detectable.

Anyone running this setup? What's your thoughts? Better alternative?

Universal quality mufflers and a custom job. Will fit better, quieter and won't have no silly step downs. Downside, won't come in a pretty box and no sticker.

You will get a far better result getting it built by an exhaust shop to suit your needs and the car vs an off the shelf brand name one for about the same price.

I've heard them on an R34 GTR before and IMO they sound like arse. Much better systems out there for the price. Or as mentioned, get one made up from an exhaust shop.

I had a good look over an Evo one at hypertune one day. Nug rear muffler. Lost the photo though. 

Either way it crazy loud.

Im in the same boat not sure is its worth buying the ti exhuaust or get a custom exhaust

Depends whats more important, that fact that it's pretty or that your exhaust flows as much as it possibly can

50/50 if there's not much difference in price from the TI exhaust and custom. might as well go with the TI

Well it's not a 50/50 decision, it's do you want it to work or do you want it to be pretty and have a restrictor in the muffler

the r32 gtr one is 89.1mm (no restrictors in the resonator or the rear muffler), but drops to 80mm at the cat flange. I got mine modified to be a true 3.5 inch all the way

Titanium looks cool and is very light

Sounds pretty good in my opinion.

You should have a look at the HKS Super Turbo exhausts. Straight through muffler design yet it's still very streetable and quiet.

TI is sexy and light. Sound is your choice so youtube the ones your keen on. Lads like em loud which isn't y cup of tea.

I run the HKS Super Turbo system, which after many jap brand systems, this one is by far the best for my needs. Passes RWC/RTA inspections. Opens up to a very nice note after about 3300rpm.

Custom is fine for 3.5 inch and upwards, flows best for large power applications. As for not being deflectable depends on DB's @ 3000-3200 rpm
