You cannot put an R34 GTT caliper onto a 324mm GTR rotor without the adapter being a shitfight.  The increase in diameter is just too small to get a good design.  Even the adapter for the R33 296mm caliper sucks going onto a 324mm rotor.  The only ones that end up with a nice adapter are the R32/Z32 280mm caliper adapters.

The various Sumitomo calipers do clear the inside of good 17" wheels when spaced out to go over a 324mm rotor.  Not as good as the Brembos, because the Brembos are a more compact caliper.  And of course, this statement is subject to the possibility (or otherwise) of making the adapters work.

The limit on how big the rotor can be will depend on the wheel.  Once you get to 330mm you're pushing your luck with a lot of wheels.  And the other problem is that as the rotors get bigger, the calipers intended for smaller rotors start to hang off the edges of the bigger rotor, and you have to start grinding material out of the bridge of the caliper.  You have to do that even at 324mm.  It only gets worse the bigger they get.

In short......no.  Well, yes, but no.  And the other way to look at it is....why bother going from 310mm to 324mm anyway?  Hardly worth the effort.
