Hi all,

my nissan r32 skyline GTS4 AWD has been having an ongoing issue. Whenever i drive on the freeway over 100kms p/h after about 10 minutes my HICAS light on my instrument cluster appears. It will stay on permanently, however if i turn the car off and on again it goes away only to come back a few minutes later. Any possible solutions? much appreciated, Dean.

Almost certainly your steering wheel is not straight, or you have an aftermarket non HICAS steering wheel.

There is a HICAS sensor on the steering column to determine when you are turning a corner.  If your wheel is not on straight it will think you are always turning, particularly on straight roads so it will throw an error light
