IMACUL8
If you go 10.5 wide you will need to go 285 or 295 wide tire. Whatever you do dont go 10.5 wide and put a 265 or 275 stretched tire on there ! Stretched tires on a gtr is on par with neons! Check out this thread --> 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470154-best-offset-to-suit-gtr34/#findComment-7825403 Share on other sites

Check out this thread --> Hey i checked it out, i guess the next question is (because i want to run the emotion D9R's as well, would anyone reccomend staggered? Or would 10.5 be ok on the front as well? Id probably run 285 tyres but by the looks of the thread above id still need to heat the guards too.. so many choices Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470154-best-offset-to-suit-gtr34/#findComment-7825436 Share on other sites

MissGTR34
It would prevent scrub on the front though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470154-best-offset-to-suit-gtr34/#findComment-7825448 Share on other sites

baicai
Im running 18x10.5 +15 lmgt4's with 295/30/18 front and rear, slight rubbing on full lock. Previous owner had 19x10.5 te37 with 275 and it rubbs on inner fender plastic. I think 275 is the biggest tyre you can run on 19s, if you want 285 or more then stick to 18s. 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470154-best-offset-to-suit-gtr34/#findComment-7825481 Share on other sites

I run Hankook 275 x 30 x 19 and there is only a tiny bit of stretch .. certainly not hella stretched brosef stance though. No scrub on full lock in any direction, but i used a heat gun on the inner arch liners and pushed them back. I'm running about an inch lower than standard Vspec suspension on Tein Super Streets 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470154-best-offset-to-suit-gtr34/#findComment-7825632 Share on other sites

djvoodoo
Thread revival & update. So i moved on from the Work D9R and have gone with Work Meister S1 3p in 19 x10.5 +12. Ended up going with a Kuhmo ECSTA PS91 tyre - 285 30 19. According to "will they fit" website, this makes the rolling diameter/circ exactly the same as the stock 245 40 18 wheels on an R34. So, how's the fit? Well, it's certainly the widest max tyre you can go without installing Camber arms etc. Tyres poke ever so slightly, and front right does rub on full lock, but i'll fix that by removing one of the bolts that hold the BOV adaptor. That seems to be my issue. Raised the front coilovers by 10mm for more clearance as my Vspec lip has seen better days. Coilovers are Tein Flex, and set 5 odd clicks from full soft. Very compliant on the road. Rears are fine, but cutting it close. Rolled rear guards or more camber could help, but i wasn't getting any rub (going over speed humps/ acceleration squat/ turn in/ cornering) all seemed fine. 285 30 19 are better than a 275 35 19, but very little room to play.
