1000hp + Build

I'm gathering parts for a build up on a tb48 engine aiming for   over 1000 HP. 

I have a turbo thats equivalent to a Garrett gt4708. It has a 1.41 rear t6 rear housing. 

Has anybody had experience with these . From what I can find it's sized for 1200hp size turbos? 

Obviously too big on an rb?

why would you run this instead of say a GTX4202r, Precision 7675 or a Borg Warner Airwerks s400-SXE 100x76?

its unnecessarily large and meant for a diesel truck. you're going to need to run 35+ psi to make 1000 hp on one of those and that is way north of the efficiency range of an old GT series compressor.

Is this a gee up?
That turbo would look better on a dozer.

Looking at using it in a compound setup with smaller cat turbo.  

Will be in a swb gq

Looks like an holset, HX50 or bigger.

And it's wastegated only on 1 scroll, not ideal on a petrol engine.

 

Do you have a closer pics on the plate on the CHRA ?

It's a Borg Warner s415. The waste gate is on both scrolls but the ports will need opening up anyway.
