Just wondering if anyone has had issues with Proflow parts or Proflow themselves. So i bought a new Proflow fuel rail, to find the inside edges where burred and had metal shavings on the inside. After non stop ringing and emails for a month, today i finally received an email. Saying to just clean it up with a flat blade screwdriver!!!! Really isn't this why we dont buy cheap Chinese stuff. Anyway Im not bagging Proflow at all, I just wanted to know if this was just a case of 1 in a million. Thanks for reading, please leave a response if you have dealt with Proflow whether its bad or good

Don't think that's acceptable man seems pretty poor on there behalf, I've used them a couple of times and it's kinda hit and miss, sometimes the guys can't help you at all so you've just gotta know exactly what you need.

went in there one time had a guy spending ages trying to find the right fitting for me, said we needed to use some adapter and all up was going to be like $80 for a right hand bend fitting from like dash 5 to dash 6 the other side, I went to a place called "Enzed" and they had exactly what I needed for $10... and it had a psi rating too (Enzed is a hydraulic hose fitting specialist) I usually go there first before Proflow now.

Quality control issues and customer service issues, you can only really notify the company directors, if they are intending to operate their business successfully they will follow-up on your complaint, they need to be informed before they can do anything.  A company search and a couple of registered letters with photographs, will put the ball in their court.

...otherwise take your problem to youtube, and social media like Ravi suggested.

Well finally I got my fuel rail replaced from Proflow. Guess what this rail is as bad as the first one. Cant believe it. When I spoke to the person from Proflow on the phone, who was organising the replacement rail, he said he checked the new fuel rail. He said in these words. The new fuel rail isn't perfect but it sounds better than the one I have. Was i speaking to the guy from the scratch and dent section of Proflow

    • Aren't these run off of high voltage in OEM applications? Like 200+V. Or at least 48V in mild hybrids. At ~18,000 BTU ballpark nominal capacity the power draw is at what, 2.2 kW? ~185A is a pretty crazy amount of amps. At 200V it's only 11A. The 70A nominal kits with up to 100A peak draw I see for stuff like classic Porsches have pretty substantial compromises like shutting off at idle and not actually managing to keep the interior cool in hot conditions because they can only output like 6000 BTU. IMO if I had to pick what high amp draw component to retrofit to these cars I would start with the engine fan, not the AC compressor. You need an ~850-1000W brushless fan, something like this: I would love to see the data but I would bet that whatever you save by running the AC compressor in a more efficient regime with an electric motor you're probably losing to conversion losses anyways. It's not really like a clutch fan where you're losing power all the time even when it's nominally disengaged and it gets worse as it engages because the envelope tracking isn't that precise.

    • I'm wondering is the Toyota and Mazda "collaboration" could see that new Toyota ???G20 ??? turbo engine that they have been showing off recently into a future MX5, apparently it's good for 400hp out of the box That could easily, possibly, be much better than the last collaboration between Toyota and Subaru with the boxer engine in the twins
