Compliance?

I'm looking at buying an ECR33 GTS-t (not via import) but the car did not pass a compliance inspection due to it not having seat belt mounting points.

The owner tells me that there is no way to have a second compliance inspection is his state (or, he believes, any other state) but as I'm in the NT it may be different.

So what I want to know is: Is it possible to fix the issue of the mounting points and get the car complianced once that is done?

Common sense tells me it shouldn't be an issue but some laws seem to disregard it....

I think using the term "common sense" in a sentance refering to import compliance is an oxymoron.

compliance is not a state thing...australian compliance means just that

if this is that white crashed damaged gts-t in brisbane...i think the mods should get rid of this add ...some one is going to get burnt here :flamed:

Hi Seqo, I strongly suggest you got to the DOTARS sight and look up the RAWS, that will tell you what questions to ask, yourself and the seller.
