Rs4s brakes

Hi all,

First post here so apologies if doing it wrong, i have been searching the threads and cant find the info i need.

 

Does any body know what nissan model rear brake calipers i can use to upgrade my rear brakes on a 2000 rs4s stagea. I have purchased r32 gtr rear calipers but they dont fit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

32 GTR calipers and rotors should fit. You will have to cut away part of the backing plate.

Thanks for the reply. I have been told this hence purchasing them. Is there any modifications that need to be made ie machinng down rotors

you need to use the gtr rotors as well as calipers. that's what i have on my rs4.

 

when you say "don't fit" what specifically is the issue?

Ive trimmed the backing shield and the caliper mounts up fine. Thanks kiwi rs4t. It just seems like they need a spacer/washer as the outer pad is about 5mm closer to the rotor face than the inner pad. Im using dba 4000 r32 gtr rotors

Shouldn't need a washer. Be sure to check them after you have applied them a few times.
