M35 engine cut out

Hi guys,

new to the car scene and always wanted a Stagea. Now that I have one I seem to be having an issue with the turbo (I think). Whenever I'm driving along at normal speeds, the turbo spools really nice, but when I plant the car, generally in 2nd gear, the motor seems to cut off for half a second and all momentum stops? What should I check first?

Is it a fairly harsh cut out? i experienced boost cut when i put the high flo turbo on and an aftermarket bov, i think  that because the new bov didnt have the factory bleed allowance it created a higher boost level under hard acceleration...... then id just about head butt the windscreen when it cut, that was in second gear too.

It's as if all acceleration disappears then kicks back in. I've only bought the car. It doesn't have a bov, and not sure about the turbo, if its stock or not

Sounds like youre hitting boost cut where you located? Is it running a bleed valve or stock solenoid? put boost back to standard and it should fix the issue if thats what it is.

I'm located western Sydney! 

How do I tell, where is the solenoid located? I'm a real amateur with turbos, engines I'm out with
