ATTKD brake kit

Anyone run the ATTKD brake kit from Just Jap ? If so, what are these like and what setup did you go with ?

Would there be much difference in going 8 pot with small pistons are just go with the 6 big pistons ?

Are replacement pads and rotors easy to come by and what sort of price ?

thanks

ATTKD, D2, G4 etc are said to all come from the same factory, Many of us run them and they work well. Being two piece rotors you just need to replace the rings, and JustJap sell them. The pads are the same size as some AP calipers, so there's a big pad selection. 6 vs 8 pot is not going to make a noticeable difference. Try searching on those other two brand names and you'll find plenty of info.

MrStabby - do they still make G4 brake kits anymore ? Alot of posts I have found are 11+yrs old on them....

Would the new ATTKD be similar to these 11yr old G4 in terms of brake technology or would the new ATTKD be much better ?

I bought D2 brakes some years ago. Disc brakes have been around for about 115 years and they have not seen huge improvements in technology in recent history.

D2 type brakes are way ahead of those found in most modern cars (other than expensive super cars).
