jnin
Nissan GTR 2012 sticky on the reverse. Hi all I recently purchased a 2012 GTR with 26k kms. On the reverse the car feels sticky and I have to accelerate harder to move when turning the wheels. Feels that the rear diff locks when on reverse? Is that how it supposed to be or there is something wrong? Car is custom tuned with cobb access port. Thanks Edited June 11, 2017 by jnin Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470836-nissan-gtr-2012-sticky-on-the-reverse/ Share on other sites
ptharris
This is normal, you can actual switch to 2wd maneuver mode by holding down the "SAVE or SNOW" button for 3-4 seconds, this puts the car into RWD maneuver mode for tight turns and reversing Edited June 13, 2017 by ptharris Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470836-nissan-gtr-2012-sticky-on-the-reverse/#findComment-7834640 Share on other sites

LatinR33
Congrats on the purchase!!! I'm doing my research as I intend to get a 2011+ model. What checks did you get done to the car before purchasing it. Do all the checks that you would do before buying a car. Check the bell housing for any rattles and TBH take it to a Nissan dealer for inspection to plug it to Consult 3. Good luck if you haven't bought one yet! Guest
This is normal when they're started whilst cold. You'll notice it goes away after the oils warm up. As stated above the "save" mode also helps Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/470836-nissan-gtr-2012-sticky-on-the-reverse/#findComment-7861117 Share on other sites
