Hey guys,

Searched but couldn't find what I was after,

I've picked up a RB25 engine to replace my RB20, ( yeah been preaching rb20's for years, but this was a good deal, haha) and am playing around with injectors ATM.

Obviously I've got top feeds in the 20 ( sard 800's), and they actually fit into the rubber insulators in the 25 inlet mani. Basically, the seal bears on the next diameter up from the Pintel cap.

This however, effectively puts the injector around 10mm further 'into' the manifold.

Is this going to cause an issue?

The sards are actually about 5mm shorter than the stock rb20 injectors ( at the Pintel cap) so I've actually got the opposite (further out) at the moment, and I haven't had a issue.

Would like to keep the top feeds, so I can drive to tuner, and cause I'm a tightarse.

If I mod the stock 20 fuel rail ( make the supply hose end to terminate at the southern side, and make new brackets) looks like it will fit under the stock top half/throttle body

Tl,dr : will the injector being a further 10mm into the manifold present an issue?

Cheers
