Alternator upgrade

Hey guys 

before I fork out over 1k for an advance 150amp alternator, has anyone used any other alternative with great success ? Direct fit ? Etc

im getting voltage drop at high rpm so looking at 150amp alternator options

There's another brand that rhd is advertising and is only about 450 plus shipping but havnt tried one personally

Might be grading 2, one for my brother in law so will report back in afew weeks time

i fitted one off a el facon last night. (110 amp) fairly straight forward swap yet to be tested

Already got a 110amp rewind in mine but getting voltage drop at high rpm with thermo fan setup/twin pumps buzzing full blast and lights on

So I ended up getting one of the ard ones that I posted the link for and it works a treat ?

That's good value.

I bought one of the RH9 alternators a couple of years ago. I'm certain it was more expensive and less amperage (130amp)

I got the ard 150amp alternator also and it's working mint !

dont see voltage drop below 14v even with twin pumps and thermo going at night with headlights on
