GTSBoy
One is a square number, one is the same number as most people have fingers or toes. The other is prime. 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/471347-which-should-i-go-with-gtx2863-2530-or-2860-5/page/12/#findComment-7864938 Share on other sites

Smash the limiter because you have a "great" powerband OR 2.shift too slowly and fall off boost. To answer your question, it will slightly change the efficiency of it. Depends on the design. What it won't do is make it a multiple times better, eg 11 blades isn't 10% more flow than 10. Remember the more blades you have the more volume inside the compressor is blade. Doesn't help. Flow is still a function of area and a number of other factors so number of blades is only going to have an smalll change in the characteristics of the compressor. Realistically an optimum design is going to take account of the operation parameters, the housing size and shape as well as the blade design. because garrett or whoever uses x blades in y new design, doesn't mean that x blades will be better in an older, different, compressor. R_34
You need to use only one wheel with an inducer of 62.6mm and an exducer of 83mm mated to a turbine with a 74mm inducer. Preferably in a twinscroll housing.I can't be more specific as I don't have all the details on these wheels but they seems to perform very well on RB26. 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/471347-which-should-i-go-with-gtx2863-2530-or-2860-5/page/12/#findComment-7865179 Share on other sites

Dose Pipe Sutututu
Don't see many fast and competitive GT-Rs at the track with twins. Most if not all RB powered GT-Rs at WTAC run singles. They run it for a reason.
