Sand all over with 600grit, clean with wax and grease remover then use some VHT high temp primer followed by VHT high temp paint, then high temp clearcoat if you want. Do lots of light coats 5 mins apart. Probably dont need to use high temp paint but it can't hurt.

Keep in mind painting your piping will decrease heat disapation therefore keeping more heat in the piping.
