Need help losing oil but no oil leak?

You are correct to a certain extent. I only did the service there because i needed the rocker cover gaskets replaced and head cleaned and little things here and there. 

How much am i looking at for the piston rings to be replaced? Also would it be cheaper to just pop in a new engine. I can get a rb25det for 3k supply and fitted.

Get the compression test done first and go from there.

20yrs ago wow...has the engine been started in that period? If not, the engine will more than likely require a rebuild. Rings will be dry, valve stem seals dry and deteriorated etc.

Yeah everything went well, so my mechanic told me to rule out piston rings. He believes its the turbo because it has the tiniest bit of play. So HYPERGEAR R34 HIGHFLOW SHALL BE ORDERED

Also possible oil is pressurized / making its way from breather/s into the throttle body and burning off there.

Turbo lol. Ive gone with a rb26dett for the 33 gtst. Cbf for the head aches of having someone elses thrashed motor lol. Ill see what i hit on the dyno and post pics here. Thanks for all the help guys
