the thing I'm most disappointed with famous is that other companys (NRMA, Just Cars etc... were going to give me a minimum 20% NCB. NRMA gave me 50% because of my driving record). Famous gave me 0%

I'll have to wait and see what they're offering me this year before I decide on insurance...

Talk about wanting your cake and eating it too.

Buying a house, GTR and studying. And wants cheap insurance. If you can buy a house and a GTR whilst at uni, then what is the problem with 3.5k insurance??

Think about this - if its in your dads name and your are down as an occasional driver e.g. 5% of then time. In the event of an accident if the insurance company can prove that you drove it all the time, then I believe they have grounds to reject the claim.

Do it properly or dont do it at all.

You could just get a GTS-T - with cheaper cost and insurance.

Call Andy @ Unique, and act like your a decent person and experienced driver, put it in your own name and be frank about your mods (as they dont care what they are) mention your a member of skylines australia.

My premium is 2k with a 1k excess, couldnt recommend them more highly.

I'll be picking up my R33 GTS-t next week and obviously want the cheapest comprehensive insurance. Cheapest so far is $2500 through just car with a perfect record and 40% no claim for a 96 gts-t. I'm 23 years old. Ive seen some of yous have some very good priced insurance but havent seen what age yous are. Can anyone point me in a good direction? i have yet to try famous.
