yep i sure am, i hope all members are like this, i really hope this helps the op out, looks like people have been doing this to there cars with the same type adjuster for years and since the gears are aluminium it should last forever

thats awesome mate, so did you order the tamiya sp-602 gear set from ebay or somewhere? I believe the actual order number from tamiya is 50602. but i seen them on ebay cheap anyways, so is this what your definatly going to do, in my opinion it is the best option cos the metal gears will last forever, but i did get a msg from a member here called firstgtst and he said he has an old headlight, he replied to a thread i put up on the wanted section asking if anyone had an old broken r32 headlight, i just sent him a msg asking him to check if the adjusters gears are good and asked how much he wants for it, i will let you know what he says, but i would seriously go for the metal gears anyways cos you never know how good secondhand adjusters are and how long they will last you
