Measurements for cutting GTst bonnet to look like GTR

Hello all, 

Can someone who has a GTR or has cut their GTst bonnet to look like GTR bonnet supply me with some measurements please so I know where to cut. I have access to a laser and stuff to line it all up. What i mean is put a laser across the bonnet and then take measurements from there - or a common measurement on both bonnets.

Gtr bonnet is longer than gtst so don't think u want to cut it up ...

Buy a GTR bonnet and alter/change the bonnet latch is the best and cleanest way.

Thanks for the replies so far. However, I don't have the funds to purchase a GTR bonnet. I've seen threads on here and else where that its been done but unfortunately no measurements.

Yes it's been done but get it in your head... not with a gts bonnet.

Ok, let me just clarify, its an R32 GTst. All I'm asking for is someone who has a GTR or has cut the bonnet to put some measurements up.

Maybe someone with an r32 can help. But definitely no go for 33

Hopefully these will help. I looked for ages and got nothing so I’m thinking of doing a proper how to when I finish mine. I’m half way through body filling and then prime and paint but I’m doing a full re spray so that could be a while.

take your time, use a dremel and it will come out clean enough you won’t have to use an n1 bonet lip. I’m very very happy with how mines turned out

ps. I’m no welder haha but they’re tacked good enough that when I hit them decently with a hammer they didn’t break I’ll get more photos soon ?

ive done this on a previous car - r32 gts25. used a dremel to cut the bonnet for a nice clean cut and then touched up the cut with primer/paint. No bending/welding as above. In terms of measurements I purchased a fibreglass N1 bonnet lip before hand and placing it on the bonnet will show where you need to cut it

With the gap on the headlights just get matching paint and patch it up as it’s fairly minimal.
