Hi guys,

I have up for grabs my OS Giken OS88 6 Speed sequential gearbox. This was originally purchased in October 2014 and received June 2015 after an 8 month wait from OS Giken.

This is the updated version with the extended sump on it.

I optioned this up with "option 2" gear ratio's. (This is an extra $1,000 option over the standard box price). This has the shortest 1st and the tallest 6th (6th same as the factory R32/R33 GTR 5th speed) so it's not spinning higher than it needs to be on the freeway. The ratios are;  Option 2: 2.890, 1.981, 1.468, 1.174, 1.000, 0.757.

I have also upgraded the gear position sensor to a Novotechnik Item as shown in the photo's below. This does away with the OSG 'switch style' sensor.

The box has done no more than 350 km's on the street and a full flex tune on the dyno, so it's as good as brand new. Motul 75W-140 fully synthetic oil was used. That was the product recommended by Award Diff and Gearbox. It will not be driven again apart from the 15-20 odd Km's to where it will be removed.

Whats included?

- OS-88 6 speed sequential gearbox - Option 2 ratio's.

- OS-88 transmission crossmember for BNR32/BCNR33

- Novotechnik gear position sensor

- OS-88 Adjustable release fork kit

- OS-88 direct shifter kit (bent style)

- Release bearing

- Gear indicator

The gearbox is currently in the car and will be removed within the next couple weeks. I will be happy to take someone for a demonstration drive, HOWEVER, not without a $2,000 deposit. If you're interested in the gearbox you will (well should) know what they're about. The transfer case in those photo's is NOT included. I need that!

Apart from the clutch (I used the OS Giken R3C) this is a whole and true bolt in package.

Location is Georges Hall, Sydney. I will post at buyers expense.

Contact me VIA PM.

Price is $16,000

Why do people think cash in a private sale has some mysterious pulling power lol, it's not taxed, so what else you gonna pay with...Bitcoin?

Paul chuck the ad on the Pommy site. With them buying in pounds to the aussies peso you might get more sniffs.

Freight to Europe easy to sort but import tax to UK would rip anew orifice.

Worth a go as going to be one of those slow sells as unique piece of equipment and will only suit a refined buyer or drug dealer.

Or how "cash" makes it worth 40% less than the asking price? ?

You don't understand high finance Micko, Brett's and many other blokes $1 "cash" is worth $1.45.455 to them , easy :pirate: I think lol

Nice try Brett, no wonder you could build that beaut car :17_heart_eyes:

    • Haha yea it's a bit of a weird setup at the moment, just wanted to make sure I sorted out any headaches before dyno day. At the moment I've changed the exhaust manifold, turbo and downpipe, 460lph fuel pump and rising rate reg as well as the previously mentioned headstuds and gasket. The nistune was already mapped for the car as it was and drove around for a few months no worries. The plan is to run flex fuel hence the big pump, which I've wired direct to the battery through a relay to avoid voltage issues.
    • Um. Was the ECU the same as the one previously there? I know R33's needed R32 GTST ECU's or other tomfoolery to run Nistune. This is such a wild setup. Most people would plumb in the turbo then not drive the car (i.e tow it to a tuner). What's actually changed since it last ran?
    • I'm a bit stuck with this one fellas, I recently decided to undertake a turbo conversion on my GTS-4, ended up pulling the motor to replace all the seals and do an mls head gasket and arp head studs while I was at it. Everything has gone according to plan, no oil or coolant leaks, compression checked out, and decided to give it a test before I book it in for a tune As it stands right now, the turbo only has oil lines plumbed so that I don't put boost into my untuned engine, and I'm using the factory GTS-T crossover pipe with a maf and poddy as a temporary intake. The car starts with relative ease and idles amazingly, however as the title suggests it really doesn't want to rev up, runs very smooth but almost feels choked out and unresponsive to the throttle, almost like it's running lean or something? I've triple checked my vacuum lines and timing with a timing light, injectors haven't been touched as of yet to avoid flooding the engine and worked perfectly beforehand, new plugs and coilpacks, I've even unbolted the cat just to see if it spontaneously collapsed, no dice The car currently has a nistune r32 gtst ecu installed so I have no way to check for fault codes. At this point I'm a bit stumped. Is this normal behaviour for a car with a turbo bolted onto the exhaust going nowhere? I'd imagine the turbo wouldn't cause this much restriction in the exhaust without the boost going through the intake. Any ideas? If necessary I can link a video of how it responds to full throttle while in neutral.
