Trailmix
Currently having a issue with my new set of gt2860-5 Turbos hitting the the first runner of each HPI manifold. There was no fitment issue with the R34 N1 Turbos that were on before. The two pics with the exhaust wrap was the old setup. So should I cut the runners? r32-25t
I’d be using a set of ported factory manifolds 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472875-hpi-manifolds-fitment-issue-with-gt2860-5/#findComment-7861725 Share on other sites

Trailmix
Well if I didn’t just these ceramic coated I would have gone the stock manifold route. Ben C34
Get a spacer made on the flange if you don’t want to involve a hammer Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472875-hpi-manifolds-fitment-issue-with-gt2860-5/#findComment-7861736 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
Yuh, probably only need 3mm plate + gaskets to gain the clearance you need. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472875-hpi-manifolds-fitment-issue-with-gt2860-5/#findComment-7861737 Share on other sites

Piggaz
Run the stockers and port match them. Punt those nugget manifolds that you’ll be ripping off soon when they crack, put some money back in your pocket and get the tickled stockers coated if you must. That’s garbage. Don’t companies test this stuff? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/472875-hpi-manifolds-fitment-issue-with-gt2860-5/#findComment-7861752 Share on other sites

Don’t companies test this stuff? The R34 N1 Turbos fit fine on these manifolds, I don’t think they will crack the walls are not thin like Tomei manifolds. There are SO MANY more restrictions in “that setup” before manifolds...
