brakes Brake MC Proportioning Valve Removal?

All I know is that the BMC is a 1 and 1/16" Nissan non ABS unit, need to know how to tell if it has a internal proportioning valve and if so how to remove it. See, nice short simple question

My 2c is that seeing as I have never seen an external proportioning valve on a Nissan of the R3x era....then you'd expect all the BM44/50/57 type MCs to have prop valves inside.

As to how to remove it so that the MC keeps working......dunno.  I have heard tales of people removing the prop valve and having the pedal go to the floor because removing it makes the back half not work properly.  Dunno if there was a better way for such people to do it than what they did, and I've not played with it myself.

Pretty sure that a Patrol has a one and 1/16" BMC so the one I have may not have a prop valve. Shouldn't be too hard to remove the piston and see what if anything is behind it.

Do Pootrols have load sensing prop valves at the rear axle?

OK to wrap this up (if it all works lol)  I got a  Patrol JB1775 MC which has only two outlets and no prop valve. The GTR one I have has a non removable prop valve and is specced for the Brembo front caliper models so it's no good for me and is for sale.

I would be inclined to give the GTR M/C a go. "Specced for the Brembos" sounds more scientific than it probably is. I used a GTR M/C on my AWD Stagea with 330mm brakes on the front and 2 pot GTR calipers on the rear  and it pulled up fine at any speed. Incidentally when I rebuilt the M/C it was with a ZX kit.

The Patrol MC is the same size, it just doesn't have a inbuilt prop valve which is what is not wanted when a separate adjustable prop valve is used.
