Mechanic is having trouble with the different height valve springs. If going solid eliminates the Vct does that mean I can use same height valve springs on each side?

Have Tomei Solid 272 cams 9.25 lift as well as the Tomei lifters, What springs would I need to make this work with my current parts and will I need anthing else?

because the springs are different lengths on each side and the cams run big clearance he says he is having trouble figuring out what springs I need and how to make it work with what I have. He has suggested to me buying a whole supertech kit, but the supetech kit has same size valve springs on each side, and he keeps telling me I need different sizes on each side to make my parts work so I am also really confused and not too great with this stuff

Your not the first person to do this. Im sure its not as hard as he is making out. I would take above advice

He is contradicting himself and in my opinion whenever someone is doing that, they arent real sure what they are doing

Managed to talk to someone from crow cams that happened to be there who said he did a conversion not too long ago. Said because the springs are different size you need two different springs that aren't even listen as rb25 springs and said he would get the part numbers for me. He also suggested buying a washer seat on the exhaust side to  make it the right height.
