any ideas on what this button does stagea 300rx

i have my new stagea and there is one button on the dash and i have no idea what it does any ideas?

I bought a little runabout colt few months ago. Had the same button adhered to the dash. Was wired up to led "tubes" all up under the dash. 

Have a look where the wiring is going - could be anything really

how come? i have pushed it and nothing happened, and you have to push it every time you turn on the car and it goes green, but other than that it hasnt done anything that ive noticed

might have a look tomorrow see where it goes, i pushed it and you here a click of sorts on the passenger side behind the dash

i have found out what it does, it just simply turns on a multichannel controller, so doesnt do anything, might as well take it out

I had a similar looking button on my stagea, was an override switch for the TV / display.

For safety reasons the screen won't display when the car is moving or the park brake is disengaged. This switch toggles it on / off.

I bought the unit through nengun many many years ago, I'll see if I can find any more info on the unit.
