Hi guys,  i'm here to find out if the front diff+sump of the r32 GTR will bolt straight onto my 1990 r32 gts-4 as well as the rear diff from the r32 GTR.
My current rear diff has blown up due to running on no oil and I cannot not find one with the right ratio to replace it so im looking to swap out both for the 4.11:1 from the GTR.

Thank you

Yes, gtr sump (and diff) will bolt straight on a gts4 (noting it is effectively an engine out job).  At the rear the drive shafts will be different so it would be easiest just to change the diff centre.

I myself thought that the R32 GTS4 had the same 5 bolt diff flanges as the GTSt.  Someone on here (just the other day) swore black and blue that the GTS4 diff was the exact same 6 bolt setup as the GTR.  I myself find this hard to believe, because the GTS4 has the same shitty VLSD centre as the GTSt, not a mech diff like a GTR.

This confusing nonsense does not directly help you, but shows that I agree with Duncan that the GTS4 rear diff is not an easy swap with a GTR diff.  You should get under your car and take a photo of the diff and flanges for us to make this the=read a useful and searchable resource for the future.

well there you go.

rear is straight swap then (if there is a pair of ABS sensors on the diff end of the half shafts), but and so is the front...there is just a lot of work to change the front diff/sump....
