I cant really notice any slipping but i could be as the performance has felt pretty avergae lately.

Any ideas what it could be?

check yr brakes aren't glowing, could be a jammed on mc, but more likely to be a clutch.

A cat [furry type] thats crawled up under yr car and is cooking on the exhaust.

Does it smell like mums sunday roast?????...................lol

Also check yr grommets at the firewall, you could be leaking water in under yr carpet [mine was like that when I bought it, idiots had sliced open the grommets to run extra wires, and then didn't seal them up again.

Thanks,

I had the brakes done a while ago. Some green colored kevlar, cant quite remember the name. But ever since they have been squeeling really bad. I thought they would wear in but they havn't. The only problem with that idea is that the smell has only been in the last week or so and the brakes have been in for months.

also if it is the clutch should I get the exedy HD patrol clutch?

I have heard conflicting reports (yes i have done the forum search and read the posts) and most people say that it good and others are concerned that it would be rooted after a few high rpm launches.

What are some other cheapish clutch alternatives that would suit my car, 3" zorst, FMIC, 10-12 psi boost controller.

Hoping to get around 200rwkw eventually.
