CAS test, Please help.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me please, I'm trying to test my RB25 CAS (Mitsubishi unit) and results are as follows. (Testing with CAS plugged in rotating by hand) 

Pin 3 seams to read 0.5v whenever shaft is turning and drops to 0.1v - 0.0v when stopped.  

Pin 4 cycles between 0.9v and 0.1v every few millimeters when turning shaft, and voltage holds wherever I stop it. 

I'm assuming this functioning correctly, but I cant find anything to confirm. 

This is in a RB25/30 in a R32 using a wolf V550  and I can't see any CAS signal or RPM input when I attach my laptop. I'm about to send my wolf ecu to be tested.

Sorry, I've mad a mistake with the Pin numbers.

Does your car start and run? Did the CAS come with the head i,e, is it the correct one for the head - R33 head and ecu? Power at pin 3 and earth at pin 4?

You can't measure rapidly changing voltages with a DMM.  That 0.5v you're seeing is probably a series of 0v & 1V pulses coming from the 360° slots.  The other pin has only 6 slots so the pulses are less frequent and a bit longer, so you get to see the 1V peak.
