Oil Pressure Queries

I was checking my oil pressures the other day and noticed that the oil pressure was at a low level (between zero and the lowest line), when revving the car up it does increase to around the 4 mark. I have nothing to compare this to so can you help me out? what would be a normal level for the oil pressure. My oil levels are at the right point, and i have recently done an oil change.

Mine tends to do the same. After warming up at idle it'll sit just below that 1st line on the gauge, and under load it'll be up around 4 or above.

Mine's an r33 series 2.

I'm curious to know what the norm is too.

wilch - that would be the norm. There was a thread about it a little while ago, the results were all pretty similar.
