would be more sleeperere with a 2JZ and Samsonas

Can you spot me, I'll buy you a beer.

Only lets not do 2J as I could never register it, a camed up LS on the other hand is achievable, costly though, but with you paying I'm not to fussed on the estimated $60+k it would cost.

Cheers

I'll keep an eye out for a brown paper bag full of cash dropped on my door step.

Boost gauge, fully shizzle dizzle, plus $20 3d printed guage holder thing from local guy.

Nothing flash, cheapest gauge I could find really, higher reading than what I really wanted, I tried to find a cheap 15 psi (boost is 8psi) but none were found in the 2 minutes I looked for one, meh.

Awaiting some "add a circuit's" from fleabay so I can get the light and dimmer working.

It doesn't look as bad in person, the camera makes it look all f**ked up, but it's not really that bad.

Turn the boost up to use more of the gauge. Problem solved

One solved, but...ue7t.jpg.3f897132a54298adba0700bc3346ab64.jpg

The rods on these things are make from plasticine apparently.

Pistons and rods are the obvious next big spend.

Then a gearbox solution, it's basically a S15 gearbox and they like to chew.

Not for a while though, I hope, knock on wood, fingers crossed etc. etc. etc.

I believe Yul is pointing at Toyota 86 engine and gearbox parts on the ground.

May buy some injectors

"Apparently" there is another 30 safe killerwasps available running 98 but I need injectors.

Hmmm, I may have found a Xmas present from me to the car.

I was thinking of upgrading the speakers for Xmas, meh, decisions decisions.......

I was in that situation and I upgraded the speakers.

Reason: Music on in car 100% of time spent in car. In traffic, parked at lights, cruising around, while car warming up, middle of thunderstorm.

Extra injector requirement is something like 0.01% of time spent in car.

Sad but true

But really, how much clearer can 92.9 ABC Classic radio be?

But then common sense rarely gets factored into my plans, or even cross my mind really, ....but when it does I try to just force it down with all of the other bad things, to fester and boil, until it expodes in a tyrade of utter self righteousness.

I lost another wheel nut a while ago, decided to get a new set, I already had 2 different styles

Went full consumer, Project Mu floating, made from Chromium-molybdenium steel, guaranteed extra 10hp at the wheel brace.

Did get an epic deal from the boys at Just Jap.

OCD go on ?

    • Wish I had this advice when I did my pump. It went in and out 3 or 4 times, and on the last time it snapped.
    • Tried them, they leaked. I also foolishly bought some random rubber ones that leaked too.  Genuine and not looked back.    As always though sample size of one, and I could have made a mistake installing them.
    • Technically still manual process to set it first time though
    • Shit job but not hard. I'd use a piece of wood to knock the plastic lid open to avoid damaging it, use a vacuum to clean up the fuel sender lid also so crap doesn't fall in. I'd probably do pump and filter at the same time since you're already in there, I reused my OEM sock after a quick clean since the one provided wasn't long enough. Could also hardwire your pump if you feel inclined.
    • Supercheap auto sell this: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/pat-plusquip-fuel-tank-lock-ring-tool---universal-kit/SPO3564082.html I own this and if you HAVE PATIENCE you can remove it without snapping lines and generally being incredibly angry, then said at doing this job. Sadly I've removed the pump about 75,000 times over the years. I don't know if you're a large lad or a smaller lad but my advice to you as someone who is 185cm is if you are my height or smaller, is to sit in the boot and take your time. Yes you can put the seal on. The seal goes over the white thing/lid (you will see how it 'slots' in) then the whole assembly presses into the tank. then you screw the lock ring on. I spent so much time doing things the wrong way by trying to mount the seal into the tank first, then putting the white fuel hat on in the space provided. Put it together first then it'll all go in. But seriously be careful about removing the hoses AND where the removal tool is moving relative to the plastic pipes coming out of the lid when you've removed it. IT IS BRITTLE So brittle in fact I have two spare lids, and would recommend buying a spare and having it handy before attempting to do this. May as well throw https://justjap.com/products/deatschwerks-dw300-fuel-pump-nissan-s13-silvia-r32-r33-r34-skyline-c34-stagea?currency=AUD in the tank as well, as this uses all stock plugs and such. You may need to/strongly recommend you re-use your OEM fuel sock or use the one supplied with a length of hose so it sits at the stock height.
