hey guys just looking for some ideas here. started  my car the other morning. and had no oil pressure so shut it off straight away.  tried turning car over with no fuel or cas. and  nothing so replaced pump with a rb25 pump new also added a shim to the pump like i did with the 30 pump. and started car and had 100psi on cold start.  once car was at temp it was 25 30 psi. but strange on light load 3000rpm oil pressure jumps to 100 psi. engine is a rb26/30 running hpr15 oil . did try thinner grade and same issue. using electric autometer oil pressure gauge  does this sound like a dodgy relief vavle spring

I too have the same problem with my rb25det pump on my rb25/30. On the dyno I saw 120psi through the run. I am about to pull my pump off to check the relief valve. Let me know if you find a cause for your issue
