I recently bought an R33 GTST and I'm trying to get my car road worthy'd in the ACT currently and i was told i have insufficient ground clearance. The only part that that is insufficient is the massive exhaust that was fitted before i purchased the car by about 1-1.5cm when it was on 205/55/16s. I have since fitted 225/40/18s to the car and it has had an improvement but not by a huge amount. I discovered that the springs have been chopped (when one fell out going around a round about) to an unknown height. So I am now looking at the 30mm lowered King springs to replace the chopped springs and would like to know what the distance from centre of the wheel to the arch would be. As my springs have been chopped i have no idea what a 3cm drop would look like on my car

TL;DR : Don't know if king springs will be too low, what's the expected height

Also, if anyone has some stock springs lying around that i could purchase hit me up because i would like to go to coilovers in the near future and only need the springs to pass RW

Kings low generally leaves the car at legal height.  The legal eyebrow height for most R32-4 it about 345-355 mm from the top of the (stock, unmodified) wheel arch to the centre of the hub cap.  You can actually do a search to find out exactly what it is for R33s front and rear.
